Foreign Policy: The End Of French Diplomacy

When Nicolas Sarkozy selected the prominent socialist and co-founder of Doctors Without Borders, Bernard Kouchner, as foreign minister it was a hopeful experiment in coalition government. But Mira Kamdar of Foreign Policy argues that the experiment has failed miserably, with France's standing at home and on the international stage at an all time low.
