On Hill And The Thomases: How Far Have We Come?
Virginia Thomas' early-morning phone call to Anita Hill asking for an apology came as a surprise to many. Hill had accused Thomas' husband, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, of sexual harassment 19 years prior. Commentators Katha Pollitt and Kathryn Jean Lopes ask whether the culture of harassment has changed significantly since 1991.
