Hungary Detains Executive Over Toxic Sludge
Police said they were questioning Zoltan Bakonyi of the Hungarian Aluminum Production and Trade Company on suspicion of public endangerment causing multiple deaths and environmental damage. A flood of caustic sludge from the plant has caused eight deaths so far.
